AIS Construction Equipment Corporation, in Lansing, Michigan is hosting two information sessions for individuals interested in Heavy Equipment Operator training and employment on Sept. 11 at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. at the Lansing Service Center, 2110 S. Cedar Street, Lansing, MI 48910 The session will include what trainings AIS provides and the types of positions participants would be qualified for after training, typically positions with wages of $16 an hour and even higher depending on experience and the employer. Representatives from Capital Area Michigan Works! will also be on site to discuss the various workforce programs, what qualifies individuals for these programs and potential AIS training assistance for eligible individuals.
