I have been unemployed almost 6 months. I just received 2 good job offers in the space of 3 days. Both are the shift I prefer working, both pay well, both are respected companies in my area, both maintenance foremen seemed not only knowledgeable but really nice(a nice boss?!). The only difference is quality of life. Meaning, one job I will probably live at, but make a killing. The other pays enough to have a good quality of life, but I will have most weekends off. Working over 60 hours a week is what burnt me out and soured me on my last job. As I get older I am starting to enjoy my weekends off, seeing and doing things I want to do. I love my career, but man can't live on bread alone. Does anyone have any advice or has been in a similar position?
