What is the job? • Responsible for performing machine set-ups and changeovers per work order/line clearance requirements, in accordance with the production schedule. • Responsible for troubleshooting material and minor maintenance problems. • Perform minor equipment adjustments as required to meet output and quality expectations. Assist mechanic with major repairs as requested. • Obtain and verify the necessary materials for manufacturing. • Maintain performance measurement documentation, including machine up-time, efficiency, volume, scrap, and quality. • Utilizing Statistical Process Control as a tool, must be able to complete and interpret control charts and monitor and react appropriately. • Maintain an open line of communication to assure all problems and changes are communicated and resolved in a timely manner • Assist supervisors, engineers, and other support functions in the training of other Equipment Specialists in their duties. • Maintain machine and immediate area in a clean and orderly condition at all times.
