Hi. I relocated to Chicago area after 15 years of living and working in MN. I worked in collections for all those years and never had a problem getting a job. I figured here I would have no problem. but in the three month of putting in applications and sending out resumes, I recieve one interview and they didnt even call me or email me to let me know why the didnt hire a person with tons of experience in a profession that is always looking to hire. I am very frustrated at this point. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello David, If you aren't doing this already, I would definitely recommend you follow up on any applications you send. This can be a very helpful step, especially with so many applications being online these days. It gives you a chance to make sure it was received and gives the company a chance to here more of your interest in the position.
I would also recommend tailoring your resume to each position you apply for. I hope this is helpful!
