I was like the go between from a front office Receptionist. When they had a patient upset about anything...I reminded the the receptionist or any other staff members when they would buzz me and this is very important...the patient is always right for one thing. You never know what they're going through. Pain and worry is a given. I would take the patient in a private room and introduce myself. With the paperwork I would help them in anyway. By the end of maybe 15 minutes I offered my HUG. Walked them into the doctor's office for the consultation. I would always inform the doctor before seeing a patient what was going on. The patient 90% of the time was a patient for year's and referred friend's and Family to us.
