Do I still call and check or leave it alone?
Last month I had got an interview at Meijer the interview went great because I got offered the position and was also told how much I was starting off with all I needed to do was wait on my background check. I’ve been calling her and checking my email and nothing is there, I can’t even get in touch with her. So what do I do now?
When I got an offer at a previous job, they waited for over a month until they finally heard back and the position was mine...the hold up was with the town!
I would personally call and say, That you went in for an interview last month and that they where just waiting for my background check. And that you would like to know what is going on.
Move on...they haven't gotten back w you by now. SMH and ur still waiting? Continue to look for work. U may hear back.

Go back to the companies career page and use the login information you used during your initial application to login. From your application portal you should be able to see the status of your job application. If you don't find any definitive employment information relative to your background check of employment status then call the store and ask to speak to your hiring manager or recruiter.
If your unable to connect with the hiring manager then walk into the store in person an make another inquiry. Remember to pursue this job opportunity with a high level of professional persistence. Store managers get very busy with the day to day operations so make sure you approach their time with consideration. Good Luck!
I had same type of an issue when I was starting at Dollar general I waited almost 2 months for everything before I started if you can get a hold of the manager try maybe regional manager or corporate to follow up bc they've got to tell you something you basically where hired just had to wait on paperwork correct?
