I have been working for LIDL for almost a year. I feel proud that I am one of the first hire of people on Long Island as a store associate. My new location. there are pro's and cons. It's the hours. I am full time and was told I would be working 5 days a week (FULL TIME). I like something consistent for days other then special occasions when asked ahead of time. $700.00 for two weeks isn't cutting it for a LIVING wage. They have cut us back financially with fewer and fewer people staying. we are sometimes. 4 to 5 associates till the next crew. trying to everything plus putting a timed action to what we have to do. I am just SAD emotionally from all of this.
