Mother of four
I can't catch a break. I've been struggling for a minute and trying to get back on my feet but no one will hire me. I have too Mich experience. I just got rejected by chili's after filing out the longest surveys in history. It took them two seconds to say they weren't interested in a hard worker whose trying to provide for my youth. I'm depressed now

I will be praying for you, and wishing you to find al of the help provided in our country. get housing, food stamps, and some type of support, depending upon how you ended up on the street with 4 kids. God bless those sweet kids who will do anything to help you get through this with them. children understand that they can help you, so tell them what is going on, share with them what's happening. good luck

Hi Brendolyn,
I had recently received a rejection letter from a company and decided to call to speak to a HR Recruiter to just explain to me why I was rejected. She said it was the hours I stated I would be available to work, they needed someone with a more flexible schedule, so I ask if I changed my times that I am available, could I resubmit my Application, she said yes and that I would hear back from them in a couple of weeks. I want to add on their company recording they are really looking for help and are asking people to call HR, submit applications on-line or come directly to the store. (Target). I am also registered for a upcoming virtual Job Fair this week and going to a on the Spot Interview Job Fair this week also, trust me when I say this, I have had a lot of rejection letters and some strange employment situations to happen to me. Like applying for a job and checking back on Indeed a few hours later to discover the company made a statement on the job ad to say the job wasn't available anymore and also within that same timeframe I received a e-mail from an employee via Indeed telling me if I was still interested in the job to send my Resume directly to the Hiring Manager, this all took place within 10 hours of the job being posted on Indeed. I was shocked, the employee I didn't know had stated in his email to me that company paid very well and that it was a good place to work, I was very disappointed when I seen that message, that job was gone. I have to just keep pushing myself forward until I get a job offer. I hope this information helps you and others who maybe going thru similar situations.

Try dominos they have a great ladder system to climb and quickly succeed. I became a manager in less than three months.

I have been unemployed for 13 years. I also have been rejected way to many times as a hair stylist and attempted to try other avenues. I ended up creating a business"Especially For You Elderly Services" in home basic salon services. I make my hours around my kids. So just building it.

It's not bad to be over qualified for specific jobs, your prolly not looking for the right jobs in your skill sets, most jobs would kill to have people who are over qualified, but the way I would look at it is its there loss, also look for morning jobs if you have kids, or stay at home jobs for customer service jobs, if you have questions or wanna chat more message me back or email me or ask for my email

Hang in there. I am sorry! It is there loss! I know this is tough! My husband and I were out of work for 18 months a while back. My husband has been out of work since last September. Not playing the crying game, just to say I do feel your pain! Hang in there! Are you registered with work force services, etc? Have you thought of going to school? Keep going!! You have babies to take care of and they need you mama!! .

Brendolyn I know you have said you have been homeless for two years with children that is rough. Have you considered relocating Reno, Nevada is booming we have a lot of good jobs that you can pay the rent with, Vegas also has a steady job market I know it is really tough in California right now if not Nevada maybe you have family somewhere else that can help you sometimes it just makes since to relocate and make a fresh start.

What state and city do u live in.text me if in mass.. 413-321-9880 i got my friend job.

Brendolyn, I am so sorry this happened to you. I hope you can rise above this. Where did this happen? When did it happen? You should write a formal complaint to the company and call the Labor Comission's Office. You should get people to boycott that specific eatery. It is not right that they did that to you. You need to fight for your rights. That is unacceptable.
