Sometimes, you may have to lower your expectations a bit in terms of salary. For example, if you're looking for a job that pays 23/hr, reduce it to 18/hr. Also, look into contract (temporary) work; there are contract positions in the tech field. If the company finds you're a good fit, they may keep you permanently.
