Do you apply for a position if overall you are a good candidate BUT, you don't have a specific skill that is required; like experience with a certain computer program? How do you sell yourself around that?

I have seen so many jobs like that. you meet all the requirements but that one they are looking for. I have run into so many of those and its a disappointment.

Take a class or study up. I know what you mean. Or go to library and get a book to learn from. Tell them you are willing to learn.
