I'm so frustrated
I also just want to gripe. I was hired by the United States post office, I jumped through all their hoops told I was hired. I had to take a driving test, eye test and written driving test like your getting your drivers license because of my medication. The Postmaster that hired me knew about my prosthetic ankle. i had a meeting about how to accommodate my handicap. This meeting was after three months of jumping through hoops and doing everything they said. Then they said the job had already been filled and anyone with a prosthetic ankle or knee are not able to do this job. The guy that hired me knew i had one, so I do not understand why he hired me.

I cant not agree with you more. its just not right because he was familiar with your situation. I got hired by ups and things are going well. Give them a try.

If the door closed for you on this job...you better believe GOD has a much Greater position for you some were else...after all the exams and time and money...and being criticized....baby wait on GOD and trust GOD...and watch what he does....let it GO!!!! .....and thank God for closing that door of be belittled.....HE GONNA BUT YOU IN A HIGHER PLACE.....NEED ANY PRAYER CALL ME PERSONALY...2174132010...MY NAME IS SIS APRIL

I would speak to an attorney because you may be getting discriminated against due to a disability, especially if they had hired and need to go through all the training just to let you go. I'm not sure if anything can be done about it but I would talk to Attorney The initial consultation should be free but at least you will know if you have a complaint or not.

You need to file an EEO complaint for disability discrimination and failure to accommodate. Postal service does this all the time. You have to file pre-complaint with USPS EEO Office within 45-days of their decision not to accommodate you. What state are you in?

It will be okay God will make a way for you I wish the best for you

I'm sorry but tht bull crap I think if you are willing to work begin handicap that's better then getting a free check in the mail once a month they should of hired you

That don't make no sense but hell half the world don't anymore just keep moving forward and u will find a good job that excepts u

I will try

Sad to hear but companies DO discriminate against disabled people all the time. Maybe write someone in congress to express your concerns. And just keep applying to jobs. You're soon to land one soon! Best wishes!
Pray your lord..you find something better somedays
