Shout out
Just wanted to give a shout out to the Walgreens my friend works at. I went in to pick her up to bring her out after her shift there. It was her 23'rd birthday and her boss before she left handed her a huge box of candy and a card with some balloons. It was the sweetest thing to know they actually give a damn about people.
I love Walgreens. The associates are often friendly and put people first! Thank you for sharing the positive!

Thats the manager and team not Walgreens good for them. At my store we did birthday cakes and cards for everyone. I miss my crew well most of them but not the job.

That's great. Nice to know there are some places that actually care about their employees enough to do stuff like that for their employees, unlike United Cerebral Palsy, where I work. You want something special done for your birthday there, you have to pay for it yourself.

It isn't the company. It is the people. That was really kind of them. Similar situation happened for me. I am temping at a company. They gave me presents. I felt valued.
