I just turned 54 years old in August 12th 2015 and no one will hire me. Too young for social security and to old for the jobs that they are hiring for . What should I do?

The quick answer Theresa is "keep at it". I'm sorry it sounds like you are hitting some rejection in the search but please know we all do and if you just keep at it you'll find a gig soon. I suggest applying to about 2-3 jobs/day; follow up each one with a call to confirm they received the app - maybe a second call a week later asking if you are being considered for the position and when you might meet with the hiring manager. After a couple months you'll have 100-200 apps in with polited persistence following up - I am sure one of these will come through for you. Its a lot of work, I know. I've been there. But if you can keep your attitude up throughout - it really does work out.
These days, not only is it illegal for someone to discriminate against anyone over 50 - reality is that there is growing appreciation for value that Boomers bring. You may just be 1 more app away from finding that great gig that values you as you deserve to be. If not, the next one. Hang in there and keep applying and it really should work out.
Good luck - you've got a lot of jobcasers rooting for you! Fred ps: looks like you have a good start on your profile - suggest you add any volunteer work you've done too - and click the praise button to invite past coworkers, bosses or even friends to praise you on your profile - that can really help highlight all you have to offer when printing a Jobcase generated resume for any prospective employers you find in our job section - and might help employers find you as well!
