Wrongful termination?
I was a corrections officer for 1 year and a half. One morning I was given a letter by an inmate. That inmate said to me "You are the only I can trust will do the right thing with this , Please read it and you do what you think you should do with it..." I told him okay and inside the letter it talked about an officer with the department being involved in something that if true was being covered up. So after sleeping on it , I decided to give it to my supervisor and let them deal with it however they felt they should...One week later I was moved to Second shift for no reason what so ever after being on first shoft since the very first day I started..Then around 3-4 days later I was pulled aside after working my shift and asked to stay late to have a talk with my corporal. Well after waiting 30mins I decided to go outside and put all my gear in my vehicle . On my way to my vehicle I noticed the captain of the jail, the captain of the department and the sheriff coming from behind the building...I was approached by the sheriff and cursed up and down , yelling at me and saying "don't you know that everything in that building is recorded?" I said yes sir why? "Then whats going on, what are you doing?" I asked him what exactly he meant, what was it I was doing? He proceeded to tell me that I knew what I had done and I would be lucky not to end up on there with them guys!" He asked for my badge and my radio and I kept telling him as I was handing it to him that I hadn't done anything wrong at all... He asked me to bring my uniforms on the next day...but I was never given a reason why I was being fired.. I applied for unemployment and was successful in receiving it because when they checked with the department and asked why I was fired...they could not provide a reason at all...im just curious of there could be some type of action taken against the department or county or ? I was never written up at all the entire time I was employed with the exception of being late a few times..Now I am finding it very difficult to get.job in this town.....any help that I can be given would be great!
I was wrongfully fired one time. I had developed some personal health issues I got them taken care of needless to say. I was called to the office to discuss my termination but i was trying to fight it and i got fired anyway. I filed unemployment and the company tried to fight it the unemployment lady i was talking to asking me questions bout the company policy and come to find out the company was lying to the unemployment lady so i got my unemployment. I tried to go back but was told no, but they hired back some the ones who were druggies. That showed me what kinda company they are! They dont seem to want good workers and i could run the department i was in. Theyre loss not mine I told myself.
They defiantly...are hiding something. Something shaddy...going on. Unless you got the money...to fight it out in Court i would defiantly...talk to a Lawyer.
Turn it into the feds and get rid of the corrupt people
Guess can file that as a rookie mistake or lack of training. U were working in a jail with inmates and even though all inmates are not always guilty but lacked funds for proper defense, things do go on and can get misconstrude and everything is not to be explained. That can happen on any type of job. Everyone is not in order but ordered. Know direction to life, living and understanding grow and flow
You are being targeted and now black balled. I could give you a whole 5year saga, l endured because reporting law enforcement harassment and stalking, which caused me to resign from a state position of 22years. It lead to public harassment and smearing. Its a shame! People call you all sorts of crazy and close associates back off from being around you etc... Now it hard to get a job. Wel guess what, your ex bosses have labeled you in a data system employers and anyone considering your applications, will see any smearing garbage put out there on you. And hint, hint, legal actions cost upfront and folks srll you out, instead of helping you. I am sorry and good luck with any retaliation or action. Keep searching for employment, someone will overlook the site or web of slander and hire you. Try the temp agencies. They are placing in better companies now. Also, go on you tube google videos on gang targeting, gang stalking and the targeted individual. All are victims of either law enforcement targeting, or some form governmental corruption and harassment. And lastly, pray to be protected from this demonic attack. Satan 's corrupt Imps sits in ver y high places!
Find a lawyer.
I think you should've gotten a lawyer while this was going on, this sounds like a good case to present on your behalf, I think the whole thing was shady, something they were trying to hide, especially the part where they were playing to much care in you being recorded, they are covering, you should try to stop this from happening to someone else.
I am really sorry to hear what has happened to you. I have worked in a state correctional facility as well, and have experienced similar abuses of the system. I would share with you that your next choices can make or break you. I believe in being ethical and moral and would follow through with actions which would bring justice to the system. With that being stated you will need to have all your facts in order and make sure you have a representative who believes in justice not financial gain, or revenge.
Call the local press... ask them for a press release email or fax number. Send that to them. A sheriff is an elected official and bad press can hold him accountable.
What did you THINK was going to happen? You were working in a PRISON. What do you think DRAWS the wardens/guards in the first place? A prison is BY ITS NATURE CORRUPT AND UNFIXABLE. Did you think you were entering a monastery?
