Schedule an appointment with the counselor to sit face to face and discuss current job openings you qualify for and your education/career goals. Ask for the earliest appointment date, if possible. In the meantime, use this website to research all the services they sponsor before your appointment so you’ll be better prepared to discuss programs you’re most interested in first. I saw your lost comment Danyelle. I take great caution not to sound like your parent or anyone assuming to have a say on how you live your life but I would like to offer you this. You’re very young now and probably bound to make mistakes as you move ahead in life BUT you also poses tremendous possibilities to do great things. Start tapping into those possibilities soon. Time passes by quickly and it gets a little harder to maximize your potential as you get older. What most people say about getting an education is true. Having one gets door of great opportunities opened quicker. The fact that you chose to ask for help here is a shows your courage and intelligence. Make a note of all the good advice people offer and dismiss the bad. Seek out allies in your life that will support you through the journey. I wish you the very best.
