Caretaker at Caretaker For A Private Family

Frustrating job searches and its always one thing that shuts that door for me..

I'm a great hard worker and having a job is not an issue but the amount of time and effort and work you put into job searches just drives me crazy, applications that take 45 minutes, background searches, quizzes and evaluations etc. I only have a HS diploma so there entry level no experience needed type of positions. I have a battery and petit theft charge from 2 years ago and they are misdemeanor charges however, it has resulted in several jobs not hiring me over that, at that point I get frustrated and my level of effort decreases for a while then I'll try again but this seems to keep occurring. Has anyone else had similar experiences and any advice? Thanks

Look for staffing agencies that are willing to hire felons and actual companies. Do not give Up. Nothing beats failure but perseverance....

Hi Alex White ! The job search process IS very exhausting. Everyone on this site can definitely say they have been there but don't get discouraged keep looking. Here are some suggestions I have:

• For support join this [group] (https://www.jobcase.com/groups/EFDAAB25684C498FB2AFCC626B1E30C4)

• For resources and where to go from here check out [Ex-offenders] (https://exoffenders.net/). It was created to help folks in your position learn about their options and provide the tools you need to re-enter the workforce.

• For companies that hire ex-offenders check some out some here as well as info about the benefits an employer will gain from hiring you [here] (https://www.iseek.org/exoffenders/find-job/benefits-ex-offenders.html)

When you are ready to start your job search simply follow these steps:

1. Click on Jobs & Companies at the top of the page, or head over [here] (http://www.jobcase.com/jobs/search)

2. Enter a job into the search field where it says Job Title, Keywords, or Company.

3. Add in your location by filling in your City and State OR zip code. Then click the magnifying glass to search.

4. Once the list is up, click on “View Job" of any you are interested in and then apply.

We are thinking of you and wishing you the best!
