I have a passion for government and would like to get involved in my city, but I have no idea where to begin. What steps can I take to get the ball rolling? By the way, I’m only 16. Thanks.

when it comes to government jobs city etc it who you know not what you know...I work in contract for government and have a background with federal gov...its so hard to get in.. it all goes through usa jobs and who knows how they hire..I only had one interview in 10 yrs ..something wrong with that any advice?
