Michael, Sorry to hear you've had a rough go of it lately. These types of situations are tricky, and there's no doubt that the political climate can have an affect on unions. It appears you've done concrete work in the past. Have you ever thought of concrete work outside of the union? If you don't feel like they are representing your interests, then it might be worth checking other options. I know a guy who – after many years in construction – got training in doing specialized concrete interior work like kitchens, bathrooms, fireplaces, tables, etc. His many years of experience with concrete as a material have really helped him make a whole new business out of it. He did have to spend some dough initially to take some classes, but he said it was well worth it. I know it's hard to look beyond current circumstances when you are in a jam, but it seemed to work for him. I wish you luck. Let us know how it's going. Best, Matthew
