And you have to pass an adjuster test.
If you have Property/ Casualty insurance license, Got to give it up. Cannot be adjuster and agent.
What few people will tell you is how hard the job is. If you have good training and support, you'll do ok. If you work remotely it will be really difficult to get access to help. Your volume of claims is higher if you don't do field work such as in-person inspections. Some companies may train you to use Xactimate. A mastery of Xactimate opens you up to many insurance companies and construction companies.
