I just got offered a job today doing government work. Its just an entry level position and its not a permanent position but its my foot in the door to government work. It took me 10 months of serious searching and interviewing to finally get an offer but I did it. Starting October 11, 2016 I will be a Health Specialist Technician working for one of the local county governments. If I add a few more science classes to my degree I can get certified by the state to be a Health Specialist. Its an automatic promotion in chain of command and pay grade. Well that's about 1.5 to 2 years away as I can only handle one lecture and one lab at a time if I am also working full time. Wish me luck!
