My Boss Retracted my Job Offer
I was so excited to switch over to another department after being overworked, underpaid, and unappreciated. My new position had the same benefits, but with better pay, great hours, and there was also a balance in the workload. I gave my two weeks notice to my supervisor and did all the prep work for my fellow coworkers. On my last day, I got a call from my future supervisor, that the offer has been retracted due to my current supervisor explaining I am not qualified for the position, but would gladly take me back to remain working in my current position. I found out my supervisor is known to sabotage people leaving the department. So I took it to HR, with documents and anything I could use as proof against her accusations. Though I did not get the job offer back, I did get another interview and was able to move to another position.
People like that dont deserve a job much less to be a boss

That's absolutely terrible!! I can't believe someone with that authority would do something like that. I'm glad you got it taken care of though!
Its really sad when you have people in leadership positions acting as such. I have held leading positions and i never do such actions against any of my workers..i acknowledge the goodness and productivity they have contributed to the firm. I would discuss with them their strength and weakness etc. We all work for an organisation at the end of the day its teamwork..a good leader would have a good team to support him or her. I am Glad that you have another offer!! Dont allow losers to pull you down..keep striving SKY is the limit!!!
