First, please accept my congratulations to your family and your family member for choosing and supporting such a noble and important profession of teaching. I hope she will find much happiness and fulfillment in her career.
I know that teachers are very devoted to their craft, and often times will spend their own money on the necessary supplies that their students require, but their school budget may not allow for. This is difficult with the modest compensation that comes with teaching.
May I suggest a gift of money or a gift certificate that can be used for this purpose. It would be much appreciated by our future teacher.
