How long does the UnitedHealth hiring process take?
I applied for a job with UnitedHealth about a month ago, and I’ve only made it to phone interviews. I know they like me, because they said they’d call again to schedule an interview. Is it just me, or is this taking a REAAAALLY long time?
Its takes a long time and you still might not get the job they will tell you to keep applying their process is backwards and confusing
When dealing with hospital associate it does take a really long time. I think you're doing the right thing by keeping in touch with the entity .Now, if hired you're dealing with sensitive information that needs to be protected. It took me nearly 3 months to get into Methodist hosp. So, be patience all things will happen in due time, because they are going to make sure everything is what you say it is. So keep following through until they say yes! I hope this helps! Good luck on this endeavor.
I was hired last year and the entire process took about a month.... they hire according to need and when trainers are available.
It took me one call and interview. Approximately 2 weeks. If you're highly qualified or possess some special analytics skill, they expedite the process. Great brand of companies.
IT CAN TAKE A VERY LONG TIME ........I WORKED FOR THE COMPANY IN OKLAHOMA AND IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE THEY ARE VERY CUT THROAT AND THE MANAGERS HAVE THEIR FAVORITES SO IF U ARE A FAVORITE YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO DO VERY MUCH WORK AND WILL CONTINUE TO GET BY WITH IT THEY HAVE A CONTINUAL MANDATORY OVERTIME BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT HIRE ENOUGH PEOPLE TO ACCOMMODATE THEIR CUSTOMER VOLUME...........I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANY ONE TO GO THEIR DURING THE TIME FOR RAISES THEY ALWAYS FIND THE LITTLEST THING TO JUDGE YOU NOT GETTING A RAISE IT WAS JUST HORRIBLE........I HONESTLY DO NOT WANT TO DISCOURAGE YOU BUT I AM BEING HONEST AND I WISH SOMEONE HAD TOLD ME BEFORE I WAS HIRED WITH THEM
Hi my name is Melissa and I would like to know what is the job consist of
UHC is a big employer, if you have not heard in 30 days you are not in the running. They do keep you resume/application active for 90 days but I would not sit around wsiting.
I get your frustration and impatience towards this process. Trust me, we've all been there at one time or another! Honestly, the hiring process will vary upon location, position, and hiring manager. For some, it takes a matter of a couple weeks while for others it takes a month or so. I would suggest joining one of our weekly recruiter chat sessions to bring some of your questions forth to a recruiter. They might be able to answer the questions you have during the hiring process. You can also check the status of your application by going to your profile that you set up when you applied for the job(s). I would also suggest applying to several jobs at once to increase your chances of getting that second interview and moving on towards a full time employee. Keep your head up and know that things will work out in your favor if you try to stay optimistic.

Talk to God and ask for more patience. He is the one Who gives to us but in His own timing! Keep applying to others. Blessings!
I figured I'd post something on here. rather than creating a new thread. I myself am kind of curious as to the hiring process. Pretty much in my situation I've applied. I took the assessment. and now my status says that my application is received and under review. And the email message that I've gotten says that we appreciate your patience and wanted to connect with you to let you know that you are still in consideration. Currently, additional steps are underway to assess your background for this position and we will be in contact with you as soon as a final determination has been made. and then the email says that if my background closely matches the position a recruiter will be in contact with you. I'm guessing this is good sign? I just worry that the position was filled already, and the company has to post a job due to federal laws. also in the web page it makes a person think that if they took the pre assessment and everything was good then you'd be hearing back soon with either a telephone interview or video. you know i've went to many jobs where the manager doesn't really give you a good or bad impression. it's sort of like you leave confused only to find out two weeks later. that you didn't get the job. Anyhow any tips, or suggestion will be helpful . thanks for reading.
