Resume
I know they are trying to earn a living just like me but $250 to write a resume. Sure it is easy to discount anyone's writings but $250? Did I just say that twice.

Yes you did. Yes you did. ;o)
There are rare occupations for which I would suggest a professional resume writer of substance to work with someone, but I find resumes to be quite dated for most positions and people. We have hired 90 people in the last couple years here at Jobcase HQ and we really just use LinkedIn or Jobcase profiles. FYI: your jobcase profile can print to a resume with our 'generate resume' button and has a simple clean elegance for those that want the printed paper..
Formal resumes seem kinda last century really, but we are still in a transition where a lot of managers still like them (i suspect this will change over next 3-7 years). But, yeah, Edward, I kinda agree that $250 seems a bit much for most services!
Hi Edward: We agree - that's totally crazy! That's why the Jobcase community is so awesome. Each member can give you the feedback you need to create an awesome resume. Quick question - is the information in your profile what you use in your resume? If so, let me know if you'd like people to review your profile and give you advice!
