Why is it sooo hard to get an MT position working at home, when that's what I've done most of my life. Help!

Cant say, Iliana. But I can say "hang in there". Getting a job is a numbers game. Think about the ideal job and the ideal geography, then start considering how to widen either of those circles as you broaden your search. But the key is to apply to 2-3 jobs each day, and follow up each one twice -once to confirm they have your app and once to see if they are considering your candidacy (and, if so, when you might drop in to meet a hiring manager). There's a lot of rejection and silence in a job search these days - which stinks. But know its not just you, and keep at it. This is definitely one area where persistence will eventually pay off!
Good luck - we're all rooting for you!
