Customer Service
In your opinion what is good Customer Service? And tell me a time where you experienced a irate customer ....

You are right Patricia, it’s called empathy, I have taken so many customer service classes as well as conflict resolution classes. One other and it’s the most important. Treat every customer individually, regardless of how rude your last customer may have been.

Making sure any customer issues are handled quickly and efficiently, making sure they understand you get what they need, are there to help and will stay with the situation until there is resolution. When you handle an irate customer, make sure you understand what the issue is, assure them you understand their frustration and let them know it will be taken care of and you will check back to make sure they are happy with the outcome

Good customer service is simply getting your product in a timely manner. Simple but almost impossible in this day and age.

Part-time away from home.

What are you looking for an at-home job, part-time in the community or does it matter which one? There are places online that can help you get work and there may some options at an employment agency in your local area.

Great question to ask the community! Keep them coming Jessica. My opinion of great customer service is someone who listens well, shows compassion even when I am frustrated, and displays enthusiasm in finding an answer / solution

I have always been self-employed..in my own retail stores...and even though we are incorporated..it wasn't a "corporate" business. The customer was NOT always right. When we were closing one of our stores back in 1997..when we started advertising the closing..the discount to start with was 20% off everything...and increased each month for 6 months. A man came in and bought a lot of character toys. Six months later..as we were preparing to actually close the doors for good... he came in again and was furious that the discount was 50% off what was left and demanded that we give him back his money or the difference between 20% and 50% off...all with a sign on the counter that states..Closing-All Sales Final. When I told him we couldn't do that..he started pounding on a glass top showcase and screaming. One of our regular customers heard it and came up to hover in back of him in case he reached for me. I grabbed the phone and called 911. When the police arrived I had them go over to HIS business and talk to him. Yes, believe it or not..he was also an independent business owner...he owned a large Teen Social Club right down the street. Shame on him. I got used to the occasional belligerent, or drunk person that would wander in...but never really had any real issues in almost 9 years..until that guy. So..it all depends on whether the company is independently owned or a corporate chain..maybe Barneys in New York, Amazon, Walmart can afford to just give money away..but smaller outfits can't.
