No not necessarily a different trade but make a resume for warehouse jobs, and then make another for housekeeping. If you are interested in something else as well then make another focused on that. I would limit myself to just warehouse work. You seem to have a number of skills that are easily transferable to some other fields. Try Walmart and Sam's Club they are mature friendly. Nothing wrong with taking a job while you continue to search for that "perfect" job.

Hi Sherri, I'm not sure where you have applied but reviewing your profile it appears that it has been quite some time since you have been in the warehousing field. I would suggest using a skill set oriented resume rather that chronological one for any warehouse job and tailor it specifically to list and highlight those skills that pertain to warehouse related activity. Keep your existing format for any other positions you are seeking. This has been a practice I have used. I have 3 different resumes ADMIN/MANAGEMENT, TECHNICAL & CUSTOMER SERVICE Though the basic information is the same I sometime place the skills upfront for the job I'm applying for and list the job history after. Age discrimination is real however I would not focus on that. If you are energetic and confident that will shine though. Just the same as being very young and inexperienced you may have to work harder and be twice as good. Be confident, determined and purposeful. You may get many no's but all you need is one yes.
