Unsuccessful at Job Hunting
Looking for a job is a job, you post your resume all day, create profiles to post your resume, you follow job leads to post your resume, you call companies to see if they hiring so you hear them say "post your resume", I am all job sites and I know I am qualified for employment but why am I still looking. I have changed my resume a numerous amount of times, I have done mock interviews, took classes on how to ace the perfect interview. What am I missing? What am I not doing correct? So frustrating, why am I not the right candidate for the positions that I apply for? Just venting I am going to continue to "post my resume" just taking a break to get my frustration out. Okay carry on. Have a great day!!!!

If you are over 50 like I am that makes it a lot harder.

Crystal Taylor From your work experience that you've shared here on Jobcase, you have some wonderful credentials as well as a good work history. Are you actively networking with friends, family and former colleagues to see if they know of opportunities and can introduce you into a company? As an HR manager, you know the competition for advertised positions is FIERCE. So don't rely on the job boards only. Keep them in the mix but start "talking up" your desire for a new opportunity among your circle.

I know very frustrating........just don't give up continue what you're doing. Remember you're not alone in the search. Soon - I believe soon some smart person will allow an opportunity to you.

Hi beautiful

It's okay Crystal Taylor - everyone needs to get their frustration out sometimes. Sometimes, all it takes is the right opportunity to get your next great job. Keep applying, keep doing mock interviews, and keep improving your resume. Your time is approaching and you'll be ready for it!
