Why did you leave your last job?

I am at a loss on what to say. The truth is complicated. I made more money than my supervisor (who's 30 years younger) and I made more than his supervisor because I was hired as a professional then offered a call center job in lieu of lay-off due to cost cutting measures. I did not have to take a pay cut. I have a college degree and considerable experience. However, the job was extremely stressful due to a new quota being implemented requiring 5.25 calls per hour and I was told if we were close to that no disciplinary action would be taken. The first bi-weekly pay resulted in a verbal warning when I had 4.98 and 5.0 calls per hour. Also I have a medical condition requiring me to go to the restroom whenever necessary instead of waiting until break or my half-hour lunch. I applied and received a disability accommodation but it was not looked on favorably. So with all the stress, and the stress of dealing with angry, depressed, irate recipients of public assistance programs (i.e., food stamps, medicaid, welfare, etc) I failed to properly place the caller on hold when he asked for a supervisor and vented using a cuss word, not realizing the caller could hear me. First offense and no other disciplinary actions (other than a verbal warning for the quota issue) and I was fired immediately. I knew the supervisors' supervisor disliked me intensely but could have chosen a write up instead of termination. How can I explain without going into all this detail? Or should I go into detail, if asked?

General Laborer

These are abusive employers & didn't even deserve your hard work for thier business, I'd say, try to sue them for negligently disrespecting your disability accommodation, & take them to the cleaners, then since you have a disability like that, I suggest & recommend to get a job where you work at home for a company that can use your services, for an accounting job, or some other computer type home business line of work of some kind to help accommodate that your laboratory call is right near by, GOOD LUCK & MANY BLESSINGS!!!!!! TAKE CARE & GOD BLESS YOU & YOUR FAMILY ALSO, LOVE IN CHRIST JESUS'S NAME, AMEN!!!!!!!

I would not tell any employer that your job was too stressful because then he's not going to hire you. I would tell them that you were feeling that you could not accomplish all the requirements of the job at that time due to continuing your education taking courses taking care of a family member anything but never that it was too stressful come up with something that is pleasing like you were very very meticulous about your work and they wanted you to skip some steps that's a good thing versus like a bad statement

Cook at Sonic Drive In

I left my last job at sonic because me and the assistant GM GOT INTO IT. There was way to much drama there at sonic in forest hill, we started dating after she left her boyfriend then we got into an arguement, she gave my phone number to her ex( she got back with him) and he starting calling me making thy threats. Like I said to much drama. But I got a great job now working at parformance team, it's by Amazon. So I'm better now then I was. As the old saying says, when one door close another one opens. Keep your heads up and you will find work!!
