Contracting Merry-Go-Round!!

It seems that I am stuck in an ever ending rutt of contracting work. Everywhere I apply and all of the job offers are NOT permanent, but Contract. It is hard to find a PERM job in Florida. Is this happening to any of you? As hard as I try, I can't find a PERM job. I need to work so I accept these temporary jobs and then after a few months, I have to start over?

Anyone going through this same issue? Anyone have any advice?

It seems that this is the way the job market is headed. No one wants to hire Perm, just contractors and not pay insurance? This is disappointing!!!!

I am keeping the faith and aggressively seeking a stable and permanent job, but unable to get one! Prayers please!

Any advise?

Thanks! :)

Agree contract jobs are good temporarily but not in the long run.

This is my life. I am now searching for my 9th job in four years. The recruiters tell me during the interview that the jobs last 2 to 5 years. Yeah right! 8 months tops!

I've been noticing that as well - I think it's because companies don't want to pay the benefits for a full time employee.
