Think about military reserves - with your background in the medical field you could possibly enlist in an advanced rate (I did this with the Navy, based on my clerical skills, enlisted as an E-5 - the equivalent of SGT in the Army). It would provide you with a good part time job plus other benefits. In case you have an unemployment claim pending on earning XX amount of money, this would be a way of meeting that criteria. And, the other members are good sources in finding jobs. I'm not sure about the Air Force programs, but the Navy also has an Air program. Best wishes.

Try to get someone on the telephone. Be persistent and don't take no for an answer. Sometimes calls at or near 8AM (first thing in the morning) or at the end of the day you might be able to get someone. Leave a nice message, but not every day a couple of times a week is enough.
