Didn't get the job at Geico
After passing the computer test and making it through the roll playing with the recruiter... had to shadow an agent for over three hours... finally met with a millennial manager for 15 minutes that went well also... just got a rejection email... I think it's age descrimination... I'm 59 and didn't see many people my age there.
I think you dodged a bullet. Not a good company to work for! Good luck and God bless!

Hi Maryellen Prall I am sorry to hear that. When I was in my early 20's I interviewed for a local Startup and I had to role play as well for a sales job. I did my very best and they still turned me down. Sometimes it's not age, it could be that they found someone that they just liked a little bit more. Don't beat yourself up! They way I thought about it then was if they don't want to hire me then that is their loss. You deserve better so keep looking. Think of this as good practice and move onto the next interview. You can do this!
I don't think you would have been comfortable with Geico. They discriminate against older people with wealth of knowledge and experience and most of their policies are far fetched.
