Yes I just got two letters from the Virginia Employment Commission saying that they over payed me one stating that from 06/20/20 to 09/26/20 they over paid me 3,285.00 and the second one stating that from 06/20/20 to 07/25/20 they over paid me 3,600.00 dollars and I haven't received anything from them since October cut me off no warning or anything said there was an outstanding issue with my claim which the one time I did get in touch with them they told me they needed dates of my employment and sent me the forms and I done as they asked and mailed them back to them and then I guess they couldn't do nothing with that so they come up with this being the reason they stopped my payment and I applied for the pua months ago and still haven't received anything from that what do I do now that I'm homeless living at the salvation army in Charlottesville Virginia
Everytime I file a biweekly,they accept it, but I get nothing,cut me off since December 19th,I just don't understand,they keep talking about a glitch on the system
VA did that to me little different employer never showed up for there call so i got my unemployment couple months later they reverse the decision because they took the employers information after the deadline i had to pay it all back they won't hesitate taking your tax refund partial
I filed for unemployment in march right before the pandemic.i qualified and started receiving from march all the way to nov.17,2020 n it stopped with no letter or anything no warning I'm homeless and staying out in Juarez Mx.i filled an appeal and havent heard from them since December 28,2020 ,when I filed the appeal.Born and raised from El Paso Tx...what are my next steps.i registered to receive the vaccine n no answer when will I get it?
I applied for unemployment last year in April because my retirement was frozen until further notice due to covid . I am high risk and could not find work .3/4 of the employees were put on unemployment until further notice the same day I was to retire. My intentions were to use my pension until I turned 65 and get a partime job . This was March 27th the same day when covid shut down began. I did not receive a notice of my pension being froze until I left my job. The following week I contacted HR after I received the memo. I was suggested to use my savings because of the layoffs and no work. I did not think this was fair and applied twice for unemployment and fought for it with a judge from unemployment benefits and still was denied. I was told I retired a d that was the same as quitting. . When I received the judgment letter about being denied I could find employment until I reached somewhere around 12 hundred dollars and apply again. Remember I am high risk and handicapped good luck with that. I did finally received my pension last November but I feel I was not treated fairly
