Mixer Driver at Wayne Davis Concrete

I'm unsure of my next job.

Last month my truck broke down so I was given another truck that wasn't built for this particular plant. I had to jump off a wall then climbe back up .After 3 days I had a split behind my big toe. After 2 weeks,on a Saturday my wife had me to go to the Dr.When he brought up a drug screen Idecided not to proceed so not to tarnish our safety record,so I walked out.I realized I had to go back but the door was locked. Now every time I apply the persons interviewing me calls the last HR only to say we cann't hire you.I went to the DOTand they said just pass the next test.I'm clean but can't get a chance.

Hi Robert: I'm sorry to hear about your job search difficulties. Is it possible to leave your last place of employment off of your references? Keep them on your resume, but don't provide them as a reference. It might look a little odd, but it might help you in terms of getting around this problem.
