Termination for never being reprimanded or wrote up
I have been working for a company for almost a year as an office manager. I cleaned up messes that were left by the girls that were there previously. When one day I was called in my bosses office by the he never talked to me much at all, HR was there and they let me go. They told me work two weeks, pay out your vacation time, and 2 weeks severance pay. I kept asking what did I do wrong all they could say was nothing. They said we will pay unemployment and not fight it. They never fight anyone on unemployment. I am so hurt that a girl that worked there before walked in the office and said she wanted her job back and because one of the guys there liked her from before they hired her back to take my job. I am truly upset about this and afraid to get another job. Scared everyone is going to be like this. Stuff like this happens to me all the time.

If I were you, I would report this company to the labor board and let them find out the true reason, I believe that the previous person was having an affair and it might have gotten out of hand. so when her funds ran out she thought about it and begged for her job back. Don't feel bad, keep your head high there is always a company looking for a person with your qualifications and a team player. Good luck in finding that company.

Patricia, you are not alone... I recently jus lost two jobs 2 months apart- one for CATCHING AND REPORTING A THIEF, and the other for adhering to the schedule I was hired to work... IDK if you are a religious person, but I have always believed that God never closes one door without opening another, and He often removes what is not for us, so that He may Bless us with Abundance. Don't give up! The RIGHT JOB for us is out there... We WILL find it... Just BELIEVE!
Patricia: Don't be upset. Be relieved and happy. You are very fortunate to be able to receive unemployment benefits. Many companies try to fight it. Also, if this manager and HR person couldn't even give you the common respect to tell you the real reason for your termination of employment, then they aren't worth working for in the first place. Take your talents to a company who respects its employees more.

I'm so sorry that happened to you however when unfair things or what we preceive as unfair we have to find the lesson and move forward
I really feel for you Patricia,great workers are not appreciated anymore. If you are punctual, seldom call in sick,know your stuff,and just plain loyal to your job,it’s not appreciated in today’s awful society. On the other hand if you possess none of those things but have the right BODY PARTS,well guess what you’re hired . Don’t be discouraged at some point someone out there will find you and appreciate your talents,and faithfulness. I recently dumped my job of 7yrs.Yup 7yrs of abuse by an ungreatful, cheap, self righteous and boaster ,not to mention THIEF of a DENTIST? I too lost all faith in these bastards, especially Dentists. I wish I could get out of this BULLSH.......profession of DENTAL ASSISTING. Don't feel back I've been terminated for being over qualified
Thats wronful termination, I sued a company for that, got 2500 my attorney kept 5000, I wanted to teach that company a lesson, cant just let go of anyone without a reason, Its a good case that you have, you dont even have to go to court...took 3 months
