Dissatisfied

I was hired (supposedly) by Global Aviation around March 25,2017. I took my finger prints in that day and I have not heard anything from them since! Every time I call I gets no answer or they say my prints haven't come back yet... I have never been in trouble with the law, so what's the problem? I've been finger printed before for jobs and it has never took this long.

I work in the medical field and sometimes background checks take 4 to 6 weeks to return. If you have no criminal history you should be fine. Good luck

If it's a federal clearance it can take some time. I worked for an airport.. Transferred and had to wait almost a month to start back up after my transfer all over those fingerprints.. remember too the government does things in their time not yours lol

Something is holding it up. If they do a full FBI and state print check with a Homeland Security check it can take quite a while. It may also be that they are not prepared to hire for that position and they need more time to make sure they are comfortable with the staffing involved with that department. Good luck!

Try getting in contact with someone from the company and check up on your fingerprint situation.

I would keep looking for work. Your start date should have corresponded with the estimated return of your prints.
Why did you not report to work on the start date?
