just want to work
I have been struggling to get a job for 9, miserable years. I drove a truck for 3 years and was let go because of medical issues at that time. Now I just want a part time job at least so I can start getting financially stable. I am just frustrated that I put applications in but I fear they will not give me a chance to prove myself worthy for a job. If that is the case then its not fair. But I refused to give up. My ultimate goal is to find a good job in the trucking industry. Feel free to lend me any advice.

Sorry to hear of your medical issues back 9 years ago. I do know that the trucking industry has become very strict as far as background and medical with their drivers. I know you would like to go back to trucking, but with them being so strict on such ordeals - you may want to try other fields of the workforce. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying give up on trucking totally. I'm just saying you may get hired on for a different job that isn't trucking more easily what with the medical and the 9 year gap in background.
