Always keep trying with a Smile

Tomorrow is no Guarantee

One thing I have learned since a kid. My dad would quote what my grandpa passed to him from generations before. " Is to always learn something everyday. At least one thing. If you don't the day would be wasted because there is no guarantee for tomorrow" So everyday I am looking for something to learn. On the web, from some one. Reading a book. I am searching for knowledge. Which is very powerful. I am always told I act like I know everything. LOL. I really don't. I know a lot of stuff , but I do not know everything. My goal is learn as much as I can while I am alive. As I do this, life becomes a lot easier for me. I struggle less because I know the answer to most of what I deal with. Life lessons happen all the time. Which I appreciate because it makes me wiser than I was. I like watching channels like " How it is made", and Forensic Files" and Courts that show on T.v. This way I have a knowledge in all kinds of fields. Also enjoy the discovery channel, and cooking shows. There are many shows I turn to learn. I as well love to read. Reading was difficult growing up with a disorder, but I was told because of it and being in orchestra. My speech and understanding was able to improve. I live every day with as much embrace as I can. Smiling and doing my best to stay happy. As anyone can say" We are not guaranteed to wake up the next day. So Smile ladies and gentlemen, and make your self the challenge to learn at least one thing each day. You wouldn't want to waste the blessing of being able to have the day. For tomorrow may not come. I am not saying not to plan on the future. This can help your future as well. New knowledge can help you with a new job, or whatever you are facing.

You bring up such an important point here Beatrice Pesqueira . For me, despite pursing all the skills and social educational or book knowledge I can consume, I also try to make it point to learn from others.

So far I've discovered there's a world of knowledge I can gain and apply to my own betterment from other peoples experiences. To accomplish this I remind my self to practice better listening.

Active Listening is the most important element in effective communication. Listening more than talking, asking questions, eye contact... all of these practices have been helpful.

Your Dad and Grandfather were Right On passing soon this knowledge . Live for today because tomorrow is not promised, right!

Thanks for sharing!
