Part 2

Marketing companies are always looking for people to work for them, they end up hiring kids with no experience or sense. The last company I interviewed with discriminated me due to age and my experience level. The marketing companies maybe getting an major surprise very soon.

Most of the marketing companies I've seen in my area are constantly hiring. I avoid them like the plague. They are actually door-to-door sales positions that have nothing to do with actual marketing from my experience. And yes, they hire younger people because it's easier to pay them $8/hr and it's physical work from the standpoint that they expect you to walk entire subdivisions in all types of weather, etc. Not sure if this was the type of place you had applied to, but you've probably dodged a bullet if so. Another red flag is the fact that they are always hiring. That doesn't speak well for their turnover rate or how long most employees last.
