How am I to know what website that will at least make it where I can put in app and not get redirected?

I still feel hopeless but I am not giving up at least not yet

Hi Roger, Take a break from online applications and attend a hiring event happening Pensacola, FL this month where you'll have the opportunity to meet face to face with various local employers and discuss job openings. The job fair is being held on April 29th the Escarosa Career Source Center, 1000 College Blvd, Bldg 23 - Pensacola, Florida 32504. If you need hands on help creating a resume then call the Career Source Center at (850) 607-8700 and set up an appointment to meet with a career counselor. They can help you write a resume for someone with little to no previous work history that you'll need to attend this hiring event. You can upload your resume onto you Jobcase profile an reach out to other members for job fair and interview tips. Job opportunities are out there Roger but you have to take the 1st step. Good Luck!! - http://careersourceescarosa.com/job-seekers/career-fairs

Hey Roger,
Hang in there. I believe Jobcase and Indeed are about as good as it gets but the reality is that the current reality of things in online job apps has a lot of friction. a lot of companies use ATS (applicant tracking systems) so they need their own registration. So when a company like Jobcase or indeed aggregates many different jobs in one place to make your search easier - they often have to put the companies specific landing or redirect to them for the actual app when you go to formally apply. Small business clients often allow for basically an email apply process and for them JObcase has an easy "Jobcase apply" function where it's basically a 1-click and we'll auto generate your resume and cover letter from profile (or let you select a resume you have saved in your myinfo section if you don't want to use profile generation) and it will go right to he employer. Dirt simple, but bigger companies tend to be on the ATS systems.
We are working to make this easier. We are in talks with a lot of big companies about reducing friction. But for now it tends to be there.
I'd say for pure job search only though- start with Jobcase, Indeed, careerbuilder, and craigslist for your best shot at least friction.
Hope this helps. I look forward to about 6-12 months from now when we have made it even easier. Hint - we are the only company who does not put your resume behind a paywall (I.e. We don't charge employers to search, view or connect with you when your profile is on file).
Thanks for being part of the community and hope you have a good experience on Jobcase job search. Please drop me a line direct if you don't or if you this doesn't make sense as written (I am running fast now and kinda doing a stream of conscious typing - might need to come back and clean up my typing later..)
Cheers! Fred
You should look into work from home jobs if don't have any means for transportation.
