Small token - big impact. Veterans on Jobcase..

When we first launched this social platform, we did so with the intent of empowering people in their worklives. The building block for it all is each persons worklife profile. We focused on providing the tools to allow each person to show themselves in the best light (for example: if you run a PTA - reorder and put volunteer info up top - that says a LOT about what you have to offer an employer). And so on. But when it comes to Veterans we thought we have an extra obligation. I grew up saluting soldiers in parades, and was proud to have my daughters gather every memorial day and fourth of July to do the same. I cannot fathom the sacrifices made, but we can appreciate it. So a very very small token of our appreciation is to make sure that everyone knows the service they have given us - and all that informs us about their character and work-ethic. So we simply put a little American flag right on their profile picture. I see that we have a Veteran as a Jobcaser of the day on our front page today. At a glance, I know this man served our country above and beyond and am thankful for that. I am hopeful that by surfacing this information, employers will be able to easily identify folks who have earned a close consideration. There are tons of very little things like this that the Jobcase team in Cambridge, MA work on everyday to try and empower each and every jobcaser in their workflow. Some aren't as obvious as a flag on a profile pic, but all are important. If we all help each other out a bit- we'll all be better off. And we will keep working hard so that this platform helps each of us do this just a bit more easily.
Have a great monday - I gotta get back to work on the next cool thing to help out. And in the meantime, remember - it doesnt have to just be Veterans or Memorial day to show appreciation to our troops! Fred

TOTP https://www.otp2.org/ is an approved standard by the Internet Engineering Task Force. It is also available on a variety of platforms, including mobile applications, hardware tokens, SMS, and cloud services. Most implementations of this type use six-digit codes, but there are also some forms that utilize four-digit sequences.
