Today companies are taking much longer to make decisions regarding hiring; and the greater the responsibility assigned a position the greater and longer that process becomes. Such decisions vary greatly contingent upon the actual level of the position and the industry within which it is contained. The higher the level,not surprisingly the longer the process; and the more complex an industry is, often substantially increases the amount of time required to make such hiring decisions.
