Toll Brothers Greeter position might be a foot in the door…

I’m looking for a career change into leasing and residential management but most of the jobs require a license and previous work experience except this Greeter position at Toll Brothers which is basically a receptionist job. How can I convince the interviewer that I’m interested in a job that i’m overqualified for?

Stressing the point that this is a career transition opportunity and your future goals in the industry is enough to show a sincere interest in the job opportunity.

You use the innovative experience of your obligations that you apply in the office. To convince the employer that you are qualified through your expertise with communication and information.

Hi Sophia: Thanks for posting to Jobcase! I think it's more a matter of emphasizing how enthusiastic you are about the job role, and why you want to work for the company. Employers are afraid overqualified people will leave for the next best thing, so it's your responsibility to convince them that you'll stay!
