Grumpy customer came in and just was not happy with anyone. I killed him with kindness. Seemed to be really hot, so I asked him if he would like a cup of water in which seem to surprise him and accepted my offer. So I went and got him a cup of water. I asked if he had any big plans for the weekend and he said his kids were coming over. I proceeded to have small talk about our kids with him as I completed his transaction. When he left he had a smile and so did I
