Is Dollar Tree and Dollar General part of the same company?
I have both stores in my hometown and both are hiring right now but I don’t want to duplicate efforts if they're the same company. I’m looking for a F/T retail position with at least 40 hrs and benefits. I think one may have bought out the other so but I’m not sure. What's it like working at Dollar Tree / Family Dollar?

Dollar general only hires 3 positions as full time , store manager, assist manager and full time key holder. You will not get 40+ hours except as a store manager which is salary and are required to work 45+ hours a week. Benefits only tgo to these three positions.

Different Companies Ava. Dollar Tree merged with Family Dollar last year. FYI - Dollar Tree associates are not offered full time hours only part time.
