I used to do a lot of babysitting and something I found that really helps is posting a flyer for yourself on bulletin boards around places like elementary schools or libraries so parents of children see them! Another thing you could try is asking friends if they have any families they sit for, how they got the job, or if they would mind asking the family if they know any parents who would like a babysitter! It might take a little bit but usually someone will respond! One last thing you can do is join care.com! you have to have a parent-monitored account until you're 18, but it might be a good thing to try! Hope you find a family to babysit for soon!!

It might be worth doing a little legwork to see if anyone needs extra babysitting services this summer. If you're looking for other types of employment, try looking for jobs with grocery stores, movie theaters, and fast food restaurants, since they tend to work with younger teens. Hope this helps!
