I am in trouble!!
Our house payments are lapsing and I am so scared. My wife is ill and can no longer work. We aren’t making enough to get by with the job I have now and I think we will lose our home in the next 4 months if I don’t act fast. I know it sounds nuts, but what about truck driving? I heard you can make money quickly and we really need it. Can someone please help us? What do I have to do? I’m so lost.

I will never forget the sales pitch with JB HUnt.Two weeks on the road & I starved.Just make sure the company you go work for is a good one.Best of luck.

Mike, reading your story brings back a very bad feeling on this Thanksgiving day when we should be celebrating the freedom that we live under and the many blessing God has given us by providing us with good paying employments, homes, cars, and affordable food, clothing and medical treatments. Having a feeling of loosing a home turn your stomach upside down because once you get behind with your mortgage more than three to four months, it's not easy to catch up except there's a quick loan to bring you up to date. I will suggest that you find a lender who could refinance your mortgage to bring your payment down since you're not yet behind. There are some mortgage lenders who are trying three different payment method a month and you could choose the smallest payment until your wife gets well and return back to work. Your home needs to be save because if you loose it and start to pay rent, that rent money could have been put into the house payment rather than paying rent for another persons building. If you have not already sold, or foreclosed on your home, please look for a lender who can work with you in saving your investment because your home is just that. I will keep you and your illing wife in my prayers for an answer.

Make damn sure you thourghly check out any company you might be considering driving for. They will promise you the moon and lie about pay and benefits leaving you in a worse position you are already in. Good luck

I am really liking this

yes, yes, truck driving makes excellent payrates. dont be discouraged. hope by now you have applied for it, and have gotten the job.

If your into truck driving try local dispatch only not over the road there is a difference you will be home every night at the most. My son used to drive trucks but was brought into the office to assess new drivers big career move he can go back o n the road if he wishes but why would he. My son was an excellent truck driver, good luck with everything.

First you need to understand that it's a life style not just a job. The m remember you will be gone long periods of time b4 getting home. But with hard work an airport from family you will get by . I've done tor for 36 yrs. Raised to kids. An own everything I have . I make as a company driver $60,000 to $ 75,000 a year gross . try that with a factory job.

House isn’t everything.. unless y’all have kids..Take care of her first..

To get this job, you need a commercial drivers license, a DMV printout of your driving history, when applying to a driving company. You are going to need a passport being there are companies that require going into Canada. A passport is now required.
I own 3 small trucking company’s. There is always a shortage of good drivers. Go to local license branch and take the written tests. After that you will need to get a CDL physical You Dan rest at a locat site, but at that point you may want to find a local company to partner with. All my drivers are home every night and gross between 35,000 and 75,000 depending on hrs worked and there license.
