As part of our #teensummerjobs series, I spoke with the hiring manager of a local Stop & Shop in Somerville, MA and asked some general questions about jobs for teens.

also if you have a Kroger's in your state try them and they also have an opened interviews on Tuesday's 3-7 pm I've filled mine out on Tuesday and will go there next Tuesday for my opened interveiw
Sunday and Holiday is not automatically time and a half. I worked in a store. You may get more on a Sunday, but In Illinois it is not a law that you automatically get time and a half on Holidays.
I have put in over 200 applications and still haven't been hired. I am a jack of all trades and have experience is alot but yet still haven't been hired......
A word of caution! Tops has filed bankruptcy $1 billion debt reorganization but is tied to other failing grocery businesses union is concerned about pension failure. Price Chopper is in a similar situation in summary this is consolidation never bodes well for the average employee or pensioner.
