Like wow!

I was fired from my last job of customer service representative for a violation of attendance policy I had one point more than allowed and was let go. It has been over two years and still can't get a job. A thousand interviews but no job. Any advice

It's called "Work Ethic." I am a director of a medical unit. I will not hire anyone with an attendance issue/problem. We count on you to be at work when you are scheduled to work. Calling out puts more work and stress on your co- workers and customers. It is just bad business. Go to work when you are scheduled. If you have not had a history of calling out, when you are sincerely sick, co workers and your boss will support you.

My question to you is why was your attendance bad. Sometimes we have to leave early to make it there on time and when you constantly violate the policy it makes it seems to the employer that you are not really concern of coming to work. And my advice to you is the next job you get learn how to make there on time. And now job wise the only thing you can do is keep on applying until some one hires you and i know that it can get frustrating and maybe you need to upgrade your resume / application as well and once you do that and put it back out then some one will be notifying you about a job. and this time when you get this job i don't care if you have to leave an half an hour early do so and when you do that it show alot to your employer .

BUT I WOULD LIKE TO SAY TO YOU GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR EMPLOYMENT.

Hi Mike. Put your trust in God and pray that God finds you the right job. He sees your frustration and is waiting for you to respond. Tell him that you trust Jesus is his Son and help me in finding a job...not just a job but the right job and career. Trust me Mike this works!!!

It's been two years. It's time to move to a different career. What do you like to do? Think about it, then make a goal to achieve it. Think about a small business you might want to start. Don't just sit home and keep thinking about your joblessness. 1. It will make you depressed. 2. It's going to make you angry. 3. It's going to make you feel hopeless, helpless and incapable. You are none of those things. You might have to re-invent yourself. It's a time of change for you, so embrace it and keep moving forward.

Good Luck!
