Something important I've learned during the pandemic is...
Things got hard for me the 1st time in my life , as a head cook never getting over 19 hours per week , learn Life is not fair , but l think God for every morning he allowed me to get up and go help the people that needed me , cooking for my patient made the pandemic a little easier to deal with

Well, life is fair .... it's the people who don't play right. ๐คท๐พโโ๏ธ๐คท๐พโโ๏ธ๐๐คจ Huh!
I see that you are playing fair! so life can't be that bad?! ๐๐

๐ Amen

Yes,I understand how you feel.Been working in the restaurant business for over 22 years and I get so frustrated when companies hire younger people and they don't want to work or understand the value of the job..It hurts my inner being, but I keep praying ,cause I know things will get better and like you,I'm just so blessed and happy that God allowed me and my family another day to wake up and challenge this place called Earth and all its elements So that's the HOPE/FAITH that keeps me going.Be blessed in all that you do,praying for you as.well.๐๐๐

Your strength is inspiring @Isabella Steele Jones! Hang in there and hope you keep coming back to Jobcase to get and give advice!

Keep going!! Things will get better over time, just stay strong! Look for other part-time work if needed to make up for the loss of hours! You have got this!
@Isabella Steele Jones Nicely said, sometimes it is best to be grateful for the simple things.
